Testing My Website
I think overall the website tested pretty well. The only thing I struggled to change or remove is the default header and footer, since it does not come up when editing the website and only comes after I test the website. I am definitely going to look at that. The blog post in still under works so I did not put it in the headers for now, but maybe later on I might put it when I tidy the website a bit, or not put it at all.
Another thing I want to do when I edit the website from now on is to make it more fancy and add effects and other aesthetics to make it eye-catching instead of right now which does work, but is not aesthetically pleasing and is a bit bland.

Marcin Jakubowski, Production Designer, at SPA Studios in Los Angeles. Marcin works in the pre-production for 2D animations primarily on backgrounds and illustrations, but sometimes can work on characters as well on a per-project basis. The notable film that he worked in is Klaus, which he worked for 3 years and got a Outstanding Achievement for Production Design. His style is painterly with no line art but puts a huge emphasis on light, turning the 2D into a 3D form.
Marcin came from Gdańsk, Pomorskie, Poland and studied for a Masters Degree in Information Systems and Econometrics at the University of Gdansk from 1998-2003. He switched to focus on pre-production design full-time at some point, but he started doing work as far back in 2002-2005 as a illustrator and animator in Young Digital Planet. He has then become a freelance artist, working in pre-production roles like concept art before becoming a visual development artist at SPA Studios in 2012, working in some small films before being the production designer on Klaus in 2014-2019.
Websites of Artists and Animators
1. Rosuuri – https://www.rosuuri.com/
I like the theme of her design as it really fits her cute, cafe aesthetic. It is also the most visually impressive out of everyone in this list.
2. Marcin Jakubowski – https://www.mjakubowski.art/
Marcin Jakubowski’s way of showing his portfolio in a narrative style is really interesting. He shows his works, from the most notable and recent one all the way down to his earlier and personal works to give a sense of organization and structure.
3. Oimo Buster – https://oimobuster.carrd.co/
Her website is the least flesh out in this list, as it consist of just one page. However, she puts everything a person needs to know about her, from the about section to her works, and to her contacts.
4. Aaron Blaise – https://creatureartteacher.com/
Aaron Blaise is a teacher focused on animal drawing and animation, so his website is dedicated to that. The website design is simple and includes his classes as well as his portfolio. The only critique I have is that his courses when purchased have to be downloaded not viewed on his website.
5. Stan Prokopenko – https://www.proko.com/
He is an art teacher who teaches in online courses as well as bringing in other artists in different industries to make their own course, which is something I enjoy. The website also have a browse section so it is easier to find the courses you want. Another interesting thing is that he encourages community engagement, because there is a section dedicated to community posts, which helps brings artists together.
