Animations
My animations explores character movement by exaggerating them in order to heighten the overall story. I make animation based on the cartoons I saw when growing up, using their movements and concepts as inspiration.
Oasis in the Desert
1920 x 1080, Digital, 2023
I made this animation to show humor by using the unexpected. A lot of early Looney Tunes cartoons as well as Tom and Jerry showed this type of humor. I also like their wacky movements, so I took inspiration from that.
Crocodile Transformation
1920 x 1080, Digital, 2024
I watched a lot of cartoons showing characters transforming into something else. I love how they show each part of the body contort into another form. I particular took inspiration from transformations of magical girls in animes, as it would use dynamic camera movement in order to give a bigger effect to their transformation.
Jazz Night
1920 x 1080, Digital, 2024
One of my favorite historical eras I looked deeply into when making this animation was the Roaring 20s. This was a time of fashion, party, music, art, and gambling, but also a time with infamous gangsters and violence. I wanted to take the best parts of that culture and put with some jazz, with each part of the animation timing with each beat of the song.
